What do you wear a heated base layer under?

You wear a heated base layer under everything. It goes against your skin, then your normal shirt, mid layer, or jacket goes over the top. Because it is slim, it adds warmth without bulk, and you can compare cuts in the full heated base layers range or grab the women's heated base layers for a pair.

How long will a heated base layer run?

Our men's heated base layer runs up to 10 hours on low, and about 2 to 3 hours on high. Against your skin it heats efficiently, so low usually carries a full day. A spare battery is worth packing for long, cold outings. The mid settings sit in between, so you can turn it down once you warm up under your layers.

Do you wear anything under a heated base layer?

A heated base layer usually goes right against your skin, since that is where it works best. If you tend to sweat, a thin moisture-wicking layer underneath is fine and helps keep you dry. Keep the fit snug so the heat transfers well. On sweaty days a thin liner underneath helps, but most of the time skin contact gives you the most warmth.
